Our Philosophy
We want to give you wedding photos that let you relive your day just as it happened. So we’re not going to be like your annoying caretakers, constantly interrupting the fun with our cameras. We’d rather just go with the flow and let you do your thing.
And it can be surprisingly difficult sometimes. Like if we see you struggling with your buttons, or if we spot a child quietly covering themselves in cake! But if we’re helping, we’re not shooting. And we know those moments will mean the world to you one day.
But catastrophes seldom make good memories. So we will help with buttons (once we’ve got the shot!), be your busy helping hands and do what we can to make sure it all runs smoothly. We tightrope between telling your story and making sure the story is the best it can be.
And with two photographers, you get the full story. We have different perspectives, we’re drawn to different moments and different details. And we’ll never capture anything in the same way or from the same angle. So when you’re looking through your gallery, you’ll get to experience the same moment in different ways. One photographer is good. But with two of us, we can make your wedding album feel 3D.
The people you are at home
True love is feeling at home together no matter where you are in the world. It’s abstract quotes only you get, small gestures of affection and little looks that speak volumes. It’s feeling complete. And however spectacular your wedding may look, the most beautiful thing will always be your love.
So as wedding photographers, we have a little rule. We’ll never ask you to do anything just so we can take a photo of you doing it. We want to capture your relationship as you know it, not some photo-ready version that isn’t you. We want you to look at the photos and see you. Not ‘you having your photo taken’.
You’ll never be thinking about the state of your clothes, or worrying about what you’ll look like in the photos. You won’t have to change who you are around us, or pretend to be anyone you’re not. Because honestly, we’re just not those kinda people! We want to give you wedding photos where you see your adorably loved-up selves in every shot, loving every second on the best day of your lives.
Before you say your vows, we’d like to say a few of our own.
We can’t promise you won’t get nervous, that your clothes won’t get muddy, or that the weather won’t get wild. We can’t promise it’ll all run to plan, or that there won’t be at least one guest who gets way too drunk! We can’t even promise you’ll remember everything. Because honestly, you won’t. But there are a few things we can promise you.
We promise to give you a day where you’ll never feel papped, posed or pressured. To let you enjoy your day for all that it is, join you in every crazy adventure, and sink with you into every pillow of calm. We promise to love and embrace who you are as a couple, your love language, your quirks and your beautiful flaws.
And we promise that when you’re rickety and grey, the photos will mean the world to you. Because every photo will hold a memory you never had to forget. And you’ll see your younger faces glowing with that one-in-a-million love that came to define your life.
Prices
Our prices are based on the fact we love what we do. There’s no sneaky catch and no hidden fees. We don’t charge the earth, simply because we don’t need to and we’re not greedy! If our work is how you’ve always imagined your story to be told, we’d love to hear from you.
